Thursday morning - 2/23/17 In the company of seven other people - I watched and took these photographs of a a bird I had only hoped to see some day. This beautiful owl flew back and forth across the road and between a pile of recently harvested logs and an open field of young Christmas trees. Three other people joined us. We remained there for a little over two hours and none of us ever left the road bed. This GGOW left his perch on two occasions to hunt and consume his prey. This was an experience none of us will every forget.
